• 1. What is Bagataway Lacrosse?
Bagataway Lacrosse was founded in October 2002 for the promotion
and growth of lacrosse in the Atlanta area. Our mission is to use
our experience as coaches and our experience in organizing leagues,
clinics and camps to give lacrosse players and coaches the tools
and opportunities to learn and excel at the game of lacrosse through
fun, fundamentals, sportsmanship, and honoring the game.
• 2. What does bagataway mean?
Lacrosse was invented by Native Americans and bagataway was their
word for the game of lacrosse. It means "little brother of
war."
• 3. How do you communicate with members of your leagues?
Our main method of communication is via our web site and blast email.
We will not give out any personal nformation (phone numbers, emails,
addresses, etc.) of players, parents, or coaches of our programs
to other parents or members of our leagues. Coaches will receive
master contact information for their teams players.
Sometimes our emails can be directed to your spam or junk folder.
Check your spam or junk folder periodically.
• 4. What if there is bad weather?
If there is bad weather we will update our weather hotline, (404)
814-0695, as soon as possible. We have a limited amount of time
and field space available and we will make every effort to reschedule
if time and field space allows, but we do not guarantee make up
games, practices, events, camp sessions, etc.
• 5. Do you have rental equipment?
Rental equipment available for boys for all our leagues and camps
(you must be a register for a league/camp)for a fee and a deposit
is also required (refundable upon return of equipment). Equipment

Refund/Credit Policy
THE REFUND POLICY IS ON THE ONLINE REGISTRATION FORM AND REQUIRES
YOUR SIGNATURE IN ORDER TO COMPLETE THE ONLINE REGISTRATION PROCESS.
• 6. How do I request a refund or credit?
Before any refund or credit request can be considered a request
MUST be submitted via email to mikeh@bagatawaylax.com Bagataway
Lacrosse will review your refund request within 5 - 7 business days
and send you a reply back via email for your records.
• 7. What is your refund policy?
A) The sign up fee for our leagues, tournaments and camps is non-refundable
except in medical cases-either injury or sickness - a doctors note
MUST be provided.
B) 14 Days prior to the start date of a league, tournament or camp,
if you can NOT participate due to a reason other than an illness
or injury, you may apply your sign up fee minus a $30.00 administrative
fee to a future program ie: league or camp.
C) Two weeks before a league,tournament or camp begins and during,
we do not offer refunds or credits of any kind.
D) To qualify for a refund, a request must be submitted via email
toinfo@bagatawaylacrosse.com
E) To complete your refund request, Bagataway Lacrosse will need
to receive a doctor's note indicating the injury or illness, the
date of injury and clearly stating that participation is not recommended.

F) All refunds are subject to a $30.00 administrative fee.
G) Expect at least 30 days for a refund to be processed and received.
• 8. What is your credit policy for leagues and day
camps?
14 Days prior to the start date of a league or camp, if you can
NOT participate due to a reason other than an illness or injury,

• 9. What is your refund/credit policy for private instruction?
The private instruction fee is non-refundable.
• 10. What is your refund/credit policy for overnight
camps?
All overnight camps require a $200.00 non-refundable deposit. The
fee is totally non-refundable. If you can NOT participate due to
a reason other than an illness or injury, you may apply your sign
up fee minus a $30.00 administrative fee to a future program ie:
league or camp. A doctors note is required. Two weeks before the
start date of camp and during camp no refunds or credits will be
issued .
• 11. Try-out fee & Clinic Specials:
Try-out fees for Team Georgia and clinic specials are non-refundable.
Leagues
• 12. Who do you run leagues for?
We run outdoor leagues in the spring, summer and fall for both boys
and girls from first grade through high school. Our indoor leagues
will be run in the winter for boys and or girls from fifth grade
through high school. Our men's s leagues will be offered in the
summer (outdoor) and winter (indoor) only.
• 13. Where do you play your leagues?
We offer leagues throughout the Metro Atlanta area. Leagues are
offered at different locations depending on the season and the availbilty
of fields.
• 14. How are your leagues organized?
Our fall, summer and winter leagues are organized by grade levels
for our Mighty Mites (grades 1-4), Warrior (grades 5-6), Seminole
(grades 7-8), and High School (grades 9-12). Our Men's leagues (summer
and winter only) are for high school graduates and older . Our spring
league will be for youth-Mighty Mites, Warrior, and Seminole-only.
• 15. How long do your leagues last?
Because spring is the traditional season for lacrosse our spring
league will run for approximately 12 weeks. Our summer, fall and
winter leagues will run for 6-9 weeks. The number of games in our
leagues will vary depending on the length of the season.
• 16. How do I sign up for a league?
All sign ups are online sign ups -
• 17. When can I sign up for your leagues?
Online sign ups will begin for all our leagues, tournaments, camps
etc. may be posted approximately 6 months before the event is scheduled
to begin.
18. Do you have team sign ups?
Yes.
• 19. Who is eligible for team sign ups?
We only allow team sign ups for High School level leagues and higher.
• 20. What if I sign up as an individual?
If you sign up as an individual we will place you on a team
• 21. Do you take special requests for teammates/carpools?
Special request are considered, but are NOT guarantee.
• 22. What if something comes up (vacation, emergency)
and I must miss a game?
Most teams expect that players will not be able to attend all games.
It is the players responsibility to inform their coaches/teammates
when they will be unable to attend games.
• 23. Are there practices?
Our Warrior, and Seminole leagues will consist of both practices
and games for the spring only, Mighty Mites league is Saturdays
only,. Our summer and fall leagues(when noted)will consist of a
short practice/skill development time followed by a game for the
Warrior Leagues.The Mighty Mites will play a modified game following
the practice/skill development if the numbers permit it.
• 24. What equipment do I need for the leagues?
Girls will need a mouthguard, goggles(certified Lacrosse Goggles
) and a girls stick in order to play. Boys will need a helmet(certified
Lacrosse Helmet), gloves, arm pads, shoulder pads, boys stick, and
mouthguard in order to play. A protective cup and rib pads are recommended
but not required to play. No player will be allowed to play without
a mouthguard, proper equipment, or the jersey they were given for
the league. We DO NOT loan equipment, except for goalies. Please
note that hockey helmets are not certified for lacrosse and we can
not allow them to be worn. If you do not have equipment we have
rental equipment available. Please see question #5.
Clinics
• 25. Do you do clinics for boys and girls?
Yes. We will offer clinics throughout the year for both boys and
girls mostly at our Roswell Indoor Facility.
26. What kinds of clinics do you run?
We will offer various clinic from learn to play and to advanced
clinics.
• 27 . Do you offer coaches clinics?
We offer a number of ways for new and experienced coaches to learn
about the game. We run an annual coaches clinic in December that
features some of the top coaches in the game, a youth coaching certification.
• 28. How many people do you allow at your clinics?
The number of players we allow at our clinics will vary according
to the location. Any clinics held at our Roswell or Duluth facility
will be limited to 6 - 8 players. More information on our clinics

Camps
• 29 . What camps do you run?
We run the SuperSouth Lacrosse Camp, Bagataway Lacrosse Goalie University,
Day Camps, and our Polar Bear Winter Camp.
• 30 . What are the dates of your camps?
Our SuperSouth camp and Bagataway Lacrosse Goalie University will
be run the first or second week of June depending on when school
ends and how the calendar falls. Our Winter Camp is in January.
• 31. What ages/grades are eligible to attend your camps?
Our overnight camps are for players entering 5th grade to players
entering 12th grade. Our Learn to Play Day Camps are for girls and
boys entering 1st grade all the way up to those entering 12th grade
except where noted.
• 32. Are they for girls and boys?
Yes. Our camps(when noted )will be run for both girls and boys.

Private Instruction
• 33. How do I sign up for private instruction?

• 34. What do you teach in private instruction?
We have designed programs that teach the fundamentals of all aspect
of the game of lacrosse. These programs are tailored to the individual's
position, age, and skill level for maximum results. We have programs
that we have designed that touch on all aspects of the game depending
on your position. We can also custom design a program for you if
there is a specific aspect of your game that you wish to improve
upon.
• 35. When do you do your private instruction?
Our private instruction time vary and during certain times of the
year availability is very limited due to our leagues, camps, and
clinics.
• 36. Where do you do your private instruction?
For individual and small group (2-6 players group instruction you
must coordinate your group of players) instruction at our indoor
facility in Roswell. Our facilitie has an astro turf floor and all
the equipment necessary for instruction-goals, balls, cones, etc.

• 37. Is the fee for private instruction refundable?

• 38. What is Team Georgia©?
Team Georgia© is a travel team for boys and girls in the middle
school and high school levels that will travel to tournaments and
camps throughout the country.

• 40. Does Bagataway Lacrosse run tournaments?
Yes, the Southeast Championship Touranament and we've
sponsored, organized the North Georgia Lacrosse League Tournament,
and we sponsored the Georgia Youth Lacrosse Association Tournament and the Georgia Games.
We do NOT give out or sell your personal sign up information
